The Federal Reserve has incredible economic authority. It sets monetary policy for the United States, regulates banks, and provides financial services to the government. The Fed operates in complete secrecy and has never been audited by Congress.
I will introduce several bills to Audit the Federal Reserve and will fight for transparency and oversight. We must ensure that this powerful entity is operating in accordance with our Constitution and our laws. It is far past time for Congress to pass legislation to hold the Federal Reserve accountable to the people’s representatives.
