Healthcare safety and access have become a significant issue in the Commonwealth. Pennsylvania has seen an increase in Emergency Department wait times, increased mental health issues, and an increase in domestic violence. Brittany believes that healthcare prices would decrease, and the quality and availability of healthcare would increase if providers were freed from government meddling and control.
We need to prioritize our healthcare workers and the citizen’s access to quality patient care by: 
  • Drafting/supporting Legislation for safe staffing ratios in the healthcare sector.
  • Drafting/supporting Legislation to combat workplace violence against healthcare workers and social workers. Click Here to Learn More.
  • Drafting/supporting Legislation that ensures Pennsylvanians have complete Medical Freedom.
  • Drafting/supporting Legislation that requires the Secretary of Health for the Commonwealth to have at least one of the following degrees: Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Physician Assistant, or a Doctor of Medicine.
  • Drafting/supporting Legislation to make Healthcare more affordable and accessible. For every Pennsylvanian by promoting telemedicine, pooling insurance by small businesses, the use of nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants, and allowing for free market medical insurance competition.
  • Drafting/supporting Legislation for Healthcare price transparency, requiring providers to disclose their prices and submit them to a state-run database.
